About Dash

Dash is a software company. Founded in 1998 by a group of entrepreneurs with a vision to create a single purpose organization – create software that makes running your business easier. To fulfill this purpose, Dash develops custom software, and niche software packages aimed squarely at filling the voids in a businesses current software system.

TCWin was the invention of 2 founding members of Dash. Originally developed in the mid 1980's, TCWin has undergone several complete re-writes as times, technology and Assessors needs changed. When Dash was created, TCWin became it's first product. Now TCWin leads the way.

Dash is a group with an average of 15 years in-the-trenches experience in areas like software development, customer service, consulting, system implementations and services management. This diverse mix of talents is Dash’s key to the creation of innovative software with an eye on rapid, quality service and support. Its all about making business easier – freeing up the people to do what only people can do best. According to Jim Van Hecke, company President, “The best software performs a necessary function so easily that its virtually transparent.” That’s what Dash does.

Dash has already achieved the enviable reputation for the development of intelligent software products and first-class custom solutions. The company so far has focused on four product groups: TCWin, Imaging and Document Management Products; Internet Products; and custom software.

Dash offers Property Data web sites - this provides a municipality the ability to make assessment and property information available from the Internet. This combination service/product is sold by our TCWin Customers. The combination of TCWin and the property data web site allows those assessors to easily meet all of the needs of their municipalities in one package.

The DASHddx™ Imaging and Document Management system gets rid of mounds of paper, makes finding documents super-fast, and offers a 3 to 6 month return on investment. This suite of products offers a unique blend of Document Management features combined with automated document distribution tools (fax, email, laser forms) that can easily integrate to most any other software system. Sifting through thousands of documents to locate the one you need is also easy with the ddx Viewer. Eliminates time spent and physical space consumed with managing your paper files.

Dash’s mySite™ product is a tool for managing the content, or information, on a web site: News, Events, Product Information, and other company/or municipality-sponsored messages. This tool makes it easy for anyone to add or change web content with as little as 15 minutes of training. Now users can take control of their own web sites, keep them current, and lower costs without having to be a web programmer.
